 +The Mayor and Council of the City of Reynolds held a Special Called Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at City Hall for the purpose of the “Second Reading” of the Ethics Ordinance and to meet the attorney hired for the litigation with Butler and Oglethorpe.

 +**AGENDA WAS ADOPTED AS PRESENTED**

 +**BUSINESS**
 +
 +The Ethics Ordinance was read aloud and a few changes were discussed. ​ City Clerk, Pam Dowdy made the changes to the document.
 +Libby Bond made a motion to adopt the Ethics Ordinance as corrected. ​ Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Chris Mason, Danny Perkins and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +The Resolution stating the City of Reynolds wished to become a Certified City of Ethics under the GMA Programs was read.
 +
 +Libby Bond made a motion to adopt the Resolution to become a Certified City of Ethics. ​ Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Chris Mason, Danny Perkins and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +Chris Mason made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss the issues of litigation with the cities of Butler and Oglethorpe. ​ Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond, Danny Perkins and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +**EXECUTIVE SESSION**

 +After returning from Executive Session the City of Reynolds emphasized again with Attorney, William Noland of Noland Law Firm, the cities willingness to extend an open invitation to Butler and Oglethorpe to discuss the issues of the litigation.

 +**ADJOUNRMENT**
 +
 +Walker Moore made a motion to adjourn the meeting. ​ Danny Perkins seconded the motion. ​ The meeting adjourned.
