 +Mayor and Council of Reynolds held a Meeting/​Work Session at City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. on June 19, 2018.

 +ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA

 +Libby Bond made a motion to adopt the agenda with the change of adding the discussion of appropriate funds for payment of concrete slabs for the picnic tables. ​ Walker Moore seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner and Danny Perkins voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.

 +BUSINESS:

 +The topic of discussion was the FY 2018-2019 budget. ​

 +After review of the Pilot Project Solar Funds agreement, Council agreed that those funds could be used for training and travel. ​ The decision was made to remove training and travel funds from the General Fund budget in each department. ​ The only amount left would be for the Convention costs for Council. ​ Council present suggested that $4,000 be taken out of office supplies for General Fund office staff budget. Council present also agreed that 2018 taxes would need to be raised 2 mls to meet budget obligations.

 +After discussion on the budget was finished, Walker Moore commented that it might be worth looking into purchasing the Flint Maintenance Building for the Police Department. ​ The rest of Council agreed it was something to think about.

 +Danny Perkins informed Council that he had researched and the concrete pads for the picnic tables could come out of the 2017 SPLOST.

 +Danny Perkins made a motion to approve for the concrete pads for the picnic tables to be paid out of the 2017 SPLOST. ​ Libby Bonds seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Tuner and Walker Moore voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
