Mayor and Council of Reynolds held a Special Called meeting at the Train Depot on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 6:300 p.m. to discuss future land use possibilities and annexation for the Taylor County Comprehensive Plan.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond, Danny Perkins and Walker Moore

MEMBERS ABSENT: Erie Barker Chris Mason and Brittany Wainwright


Gerald Moore of the River Valley Regional Commission presented Council with a current map of Reynolds and explained what was needed in order to identify future land use for Reynolds and annexation possibilities within the City limits to meet the requirements for the Taylor County Comprehensive Plan. After a thorough discussion Mayor Walter Turner and Public Works Director Scott Jones agreed to do a drive thru of Reynolds to determine those areas that are abandoned or dilapidated and those areas that may be available for future land use development.
