 +A Special Called Meeting of the Mayor and City Council convened at 6:38 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Train Depot.

 +**MEMBERS PRESENT:​** ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Erie Barker, Chris Mason, Libby Bond, Brittany Wainwright and Walker Moore. Erie Barker arrived after all motions were made and discussion began in reference to police cars.

 +**NEW BUSINESS**

 +Chris Mason made a motion to appoint Pam Anthony as the City Clerk for the year 2019. Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
 +Chris Mason made a motion to appoint Jamie Burgess as the Fire Chief for the year 2019. Libby Bond seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Walker Moore and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
 +Libby Bond made a motion to appoint Wayne Jernigan, Sr. as the Judge for the 2019.  Chris Mason seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Walker Moore and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
 +Chris Mason made a motion to appoint Abbott, Jordan and Koon, LLC (AJK) as the city auditors for the year 2019. Libby Bond seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Walker Moore and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
 +Libby Bond made a motion to appoint Mid Georgia Law as the city attorney and court solicitor for the year 2019.  Chris Mason seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Walker Moore and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. ​ The motion passed.
 +Walker Moore made a motion to appoint Erie Barker as the Mayor Pro-Temp for the year 2019. Libby Bond seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Brittany Wainwright and Chris Mason voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +Chris Mason made a motion to appoint Pam Anthony as the Election Superintendent for the year 2019. Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.
 +Walker Moore made a motion to approve all listed contracts as a whole for the year 2019 with the understanding that Libby Bond and Brittany Wainwright would abstain from the vote for Public Service Telephone (PST) because of their relationship to PST.  Chris Mason seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +Libby Bond made a motion to make candidate for election fees thirty-five dollars ($35) as mandated by the State of Georgia. ​ Walker Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Walter Turner, Brittany Wainwright and Chris Mason voted in favor. The motion passed.

 +**OTHER BUSINESS**

 +After all items on the agenda had been completed Mayor Turner asked Chief of Police Lonnie Holder who was in attendance if he had an issue he would like to address with Council. ​ Chief Holder then addressed Council with the Reynolds Police Departments need for at the least one new patrol car.
 +
 +Council members requested that Chief Holder and Pam Anthony, City Clerk, explore options for purchasing and financing and provide the information to Council via e-mail prior to the next meeting so that a decision could be made and voted on.

 +Chris Mason made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Walker Moore seconded the motion. ​ Mayor Walter Turner, Libby Bond and Brittany Wainwright voted in favor. The motion passed.
